We're seeking an experienced leader to oversee our global trade compliance program. This role ensures compliance with international trade laws, mitigates regulatory risks, and drives strategic initiatives. Reporting to the VP of Compliance, the Director will manage a global team and foster a high-performance, values-driven culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and enhance the global trade compliance program
Advise on compliance strategy and regulatory risks
Develop training and communication strategies
Ensure alignment with evolving global trade laws
Oversee internal investigations and government inquiries
Monitor regulatory developments and lead responsive strategies
Mentor and manage a team of global professionals
Qualifications:
JD and bar admission required
10+ years in international trade compliance; import/export expertise
6+ years leading teams in global organizations
Strong knowledge of global trade regulations (CBP, BIS, OFAC, etc.)
Experience with due diligence in M&A and third-party risk
Background in manufacturing or related industries preferred
